About Innovative Artists Dance Collective

Located in Brampton, ON, Innovative Artists Dance Collective (“IADC”) is a dance academy offering both a Performance Stream, called Innovative Artists (Competitive/Recital), and a Non-Performance Stream, called Innovative Movers (à la carte/Recital). We provide training in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, and Commercial/Hip Hop, with classes divided into three levels: Mini (ages 5–8), Division 1 (Beginner/Intermediate), and Division 2 (Intermediate/Advanced).

At IADC, we foster an environment where dancers are both challenged and supported. Students learn to navigate the mental and physical demands of dance through a goal-oriented structure that helps them track their personal progress. Our programs are designed to strengthen technique, nurture artistic expression, build self-confidence, and develop leadership skills that encourage dancers to support one another both inside and outside the studio.

To ensure every dancer thrives at the right level, all students complete an assessment. This process determines whether they are placed in Division 1 or Division 2, and is also required for anyone interested in joining the Innovative Artists Performance Stream. The Mini Division only needs an assessment if a dancer wishes to move into the Innovative Artists stream.

What Makes us Different?

Two Streams, One Community
Both Performance and Non-Performance Programs are offered within the same class, providing equal instruction and the opportunity for students to transition between streams.

Dance Education
We inform and honor each dance form by acknowledging its cultural background, influence, and significance within the dance community.

Health and Safety First
Our instruction emphasizes injury prevention, and adjustments are provided when medical or physical concerns are raised, ensuring every dancer can make the most of their journey.

Honest and Supportive Culture
We provide constructive feedback and encouragement to both dancers and parents, guided by each student’s personal goals.
